Coursey and Sherwood isn't bad during the day. I've never once felt unsafe in that area during business hours. After hours - and especially weekend nights - all bets are off and if you're in that area, you're accepting the risk of whatever Quarters and Boil & Roux stir up that night.

The Tiger Paw Daiquiri bar has seen its fair share of violent crime. Shootings have occurred there. It’s pretty brazen violent crime occurs in the Sherwood/Coursey intersection, where I always thought the cops heavily patrolled the area and usually were posted up conducting surveillance on the area.

The blight is becoming more and more noticeable.
That shopping center needs a massive facelift. Walgreens and CVS look old. The median is unkept and grass sometimes gets really high. Cigarette butts everywhere.
Not the same intersection as it was in early 2000’s. Nowhere close.
