Bama or Georgia this weekend and why?

I tend to think I pull for Bama as much as I hate to do so.

They're not playing each other, so pull for both if you want. BUT, an Auburn win will make our win last weekend look better. Really, we don't need Auburn to lose another game unless we lose 2 SEC games. So pull for Auburn. I hate Alabama and will be praying the gumps get brought back down to earth. Also, I would prefer an undefeated Georgia coming in here and us handing them their first loss. And if Bama loses this weekend, they still have time to climb back up the poles by the time we play them.

Also, because we beat Auburn, we have to have one more SEC loss for them to make it to Atlanta. We have not beat Bama, so an extra loss for them would not hurt right now.

Pull for UGA since bama is in our division and a loss for them will put us in the drivers seat for the SECCG

Definitely pull for the western teams to lose...except for maybe Auburn, now that we've beat them.

You've got to see the whole post. At the bottom, see where it says post edited? Since the 2nd poster said the Iron Bowl was a ways away, I'm guessing the original post said Bama or Auburn. Context clues...

As far as the OG question, ALWAYS PULL FOR SEC WEST TEAMS TO LOSE!!!!!!! It helps LSU.

pull for bama, georgia is ranked ahead and even if georgia beats us and we beat bama we'll have a win against the team that beat georgia, it's all about the NC!

People are so stupid...the poster a few above me(Babychiva) has zero clue.

We really need UGA to win.
1. Bama will have a loss
2. Bama is a huge competitor in the West
3. That allows us to lose a game if we beat Bama
4. We pass UGA anyway if we beat them

If its all about the NC, UGA proved you have to win your conference first, so Bama has to lose to ensure we have the best shot at doing that. I really dont know where people come up with who they pull for if they are Tiger fans...

Since we play both Georgia and Bama. It would make sense for us to beat the highest rated team later in the season - Since we are playing bama later than georgia - it would be better for us (ranking wise) to have a highly ranked bama.

On the other hand you don't want a team to mature and gain confidence :P

Bama or Georgia?

Well i say Georgia because Bama is also in the West with us so it will give us more of an advantage and because I cant stand Nick Sabin.

I know what edits are, thanks. But most of them clarify the original post (Originally said Bama-Auburn, but meant Bama-UGA, or whatever). I am certainly not going to analyze every following comment to pick up the "context clues".

That said, yes, other SEC West teams losing does help LSU. Brilliant insight.

The point is that is does not matter we play both so pull for whoever the hell you want. BTW i think beating an undefeated Georgia that was favored to win it all pre-season sitting at #3 would be alot better win than alabama sitting at about 6 when they come to lsu if they squeeze past georgia.
