When you have essentially 19 guys who were major contributors and both your DC and a your key passing game coordinators move on all at the same time, it does create a huge vacuum to fill. Couple that with Covid and the opt outs and your mountain gets higher and steeper

Much of this is legit. There was gonna be a drop-off. Losing Brennan was big too.

But a lot was self-inflicted. Ed was lazy (still is) and didn't interview Pelini. After here, Pelini let him know that we didn't have the personnel to play 4 on the DL. And we did it anyway. That's all one big bag of bad decision making.
