re: Sticker Shock on used Cars/Trucks

We have no intention to sell but a similar situation on my wife's 4Runner. It's a 2019 TRD Offroad Premium package, we paid $40,000 for it. A few of the car buying websites offered $44-$46,000 for it when I was just playing around. I thought that was crazy but the dealership we bought from is taking the same packaged 4Runners, listing them for MSRP + $5000 market adjustment pricing, and selling them. So the same vehicle is now ~$54,000 just 2 years later.

TRD Pro models in the special color are getting $10,000-$15,000 market adjustment pricing from some dealerships. No thanks.
