For the Tulane game we are wearing purple trousers, gold jerseys and white headgear.

How do I figure? For proof, I submit the following: 83-Kentucky and Mississippi State, 84-Notre Dame and Nebraska, 85-Florida, 86-Miami, OH, and Ole Miss, 87-Alabama, 88-Miami, Fl, 91-Mississippi State, 92-Colorado State and Kentucky, 93-Arkansas, 94-Southern Mississippi and 00-UAB. These are ALL games we should have won, but didn't.

Dont get me wrong, I love the whites even more, but I have no problem coming out in Purple a couple times a year!

The school colors are purple and gold. The purple and gold jersey's are unique. I wish we wore them for all home games instead of those garbage white jerseys

i heard the players like to change once in awhile. Saban started one home game (non SEC) with purple jerseys when he was here, Mile has continued that pattern.

I like the purple and we'd probably wear them more if rantards didn't flip their shite and start email campaigns after any uniform change

Rantards need to realize that wearing different colored jerseys appeals to 18-20 year old kids (I.E. the LSU players).
It's boring to wear white jerseys and yellow pants every single week when comparable schools like Florida and Georgia and Ole Miss and Miami and Vandy each have a variety of different jersey/pants color combos. If Georgia and Florida can each wear 3 different jerseys with their football history, I don't see why LSU has to stick to the white and yellow. I'm sorry, but we're not Alabama or Penn State. We're a "newer" power who has a history of changing our uniforms.
It's a recruiting tool and is important to keep the kids happy. I think we should mix it up with only the piping/stripes and logos remaining constant.

LSU has always been known for wearing white at home. Why do so many rantards make an issue out of wanting to wear purple ?
