ULL is likely to get blown out in the game if you've been paying attention. It will be the only game on national TV

You wouldn’t hire a coach over 1 game?
Napier would be an excellent hire. He’s a true CEO and a proven winner. We don’t need a scheme artist, we need a head coach. Someone who has a vision for the program and has the ability to make it happen. Lane is a scheme artist IMO.
ETA: I’m not saying the HC can’t call plays. I’m saying don’t hire them for that reason.

I didn’t say he couldn’t or didn’t. But that’s not why I like him.
ETA: my point is, don’t hire someone because of how they call plays. That’s not the job. It can be part of it, but it’s a hell of a lot more than that.

Look at the boards on game days sentiment about whether a coach is good or not shifts depending on how they play each quarter.

I don't suppose you follow the Sun Belt? It would be unexpected considering how both teams have been playing so far this season.
ULL only beat South Alabama because South Al missed a last second 20 yard field goal in their last game. It is football and anything can happen though, but I'd say it is not trending in the right direction

Look, I am from Lafayette and my father is an alumni and booster. I have followed Napier and The Cajuns, and I feel like if more people would watch Napier and The Cajuns this board would not be so in love with him as a possible next head coach
