First post here.. always have just been a reader on the rant but couldn’t get over the emotional switch/realization I had on Saturday that solely concerned O as our head coach. As we run out the tunnel and I can see his emotion and his love for this state, it made me proud to cheer on the tigers with a home ball Coach.. that’s a pretty neat thing and his passion makes him easy to cheer for, until the game actually starts

I then had to watch that shite show of a performance and the utter lack of discipline and urgency we play with.. I could also mention about 10 games prior where this is the case but this one stood out because of how I felt to start that game sitting in the stadium. To end this all over the place rant, I don’t care who the next head coach is, whether he has the personality of the goal post or if he’s never even stepped inside of LA. I just want him to win, and that is really all I care about (as does about anyone). My likeness of O stops just about when the game starts so screw the love and the passion and the home grounded person if he’s just gonna piss you off for 3 hours every Saturday. Geaux Tigers

Sounds like living in Salt Lake City has made you rational.

I have wanted Ed gone for a long time. But I have always rooted for my LSU Tigers. That play in the fourth quarter third down and 2 where Max just overthrew Bech killed me. I knew the game was over.

It's been a want ever since Les' days. How many times did his team come out lethargic, clueless and lacking motivation. The same thing continues.

in my opinion, Les’ teams were only good when he had a really good talent because of his philosophy. And became less affective as the game changed. I don’t think it was the motivation factor. And I think O has supplied some good games where the team was motivated. The entire 2019 season, that team was motivated. Mainly because the quarterback in my opinion. But it’s a lack of consistency. That’s only one of the issues obviously going on with Ed.

But I would definitely say les lost a lot of motivation in his later years. Specifically after 2011. And that probably rubbed off on the team.
