That said, clarify your answer-

you're saying 11-2 with a win at Bama and a bowl win, and you think they will still fire him?
If he does that, I don't think he gets canned, I think he gets a bonus.

My own thoughts are, he entered the season needing to hit double figures in wins. 10-2 regular season, or if you go 9-3 you damn well better win the bowl, and look good in the losses. beating Alabama and going 9-3 could be enough.

At this point of the season, our losses haven't looked good, so that option is out. He's at the 2-loss spot already, so he has to win out, including beating Bama. He might be able to lose one more, but he MUST beat Alabama. Technically (simply because we haven't played yet), that's still possible.

Anything less, and he's out. I think he might be fired after the next loss, if it's ugly.
