If they have 5-6 losses after Arky, I think Woody pulls the trigger and lets an interim coach finish out against ULM and aTm to try and hopefully get into a bowl game. How depressing it is typing that.

What does an abysmal finish to this year do to recruiting?

He'll have no choice if that's the case. The fan and booster unrest will be too much to let him finish. I would have bet my house two years ago we wouldn't be in this position this soon.

Early signing period makes it tough so you pull the trigger to signal a new coaching staff is incoming. I don't think it would be as bad as people think.

We are two years removed from winning a natty. put the right guy at the top and recruiting will be no issue IMO

If he can't beat a Kentucky team and their crap offense, coming off of a huge but somewhat fluky win over Florida (who has owned them), Orgeron should be canned because it's only going to get worse from there.

But what if he runs the table?

10-2, 9-3, 8-4

Rah rah rah rah

Yes with the right coach LSU can rebound quickly. Recruiting should be factor in whether or not to retain O. You see the wonders he is currently working with high ranked classes.

I’ll be happy to attend some home games if they can O and let E coach the team.

There will be growing pains for a year. But remember, when O took over for Miles the entire premise of his hiring was that LSUwasthisclose to competing with Bama every year and O was going to be the catalyst that finally changed things and got them over the top.

Then he took the job and all of a sudden it became a rebuild. Then he lucked into Brady and Burrow for 2019, but after it was immediately rebuild time again. Now the team is actually positioned for a rebuild. The OL, DL, RB, LB and DB recruiting have been lackluster at best and there are holes and thin personnel all over the roster.
