Only some what solid phase of play is, with the exception of an offside call on opening kickoff, is the free kick & PAT attempts. Punting sometimes suspect, Offensive scheme/personnel terrible, Defensive scheme/personnel shakey, with few moments of brilliance. Coaching highly suspect...

For the life of me, I just can not understand why we do not design plays specifically for Boutte. Look how Bama designed plays for Smith last year. That Sh*t actually works when you get the ball into your play maker hands.
Another thing I notice is Max rarely throws the ball into blitz. It's rule #1 when you see a blitz throw the damn ball into the blitz.
Our route selection on plays are terrible. We never gives Safeties or LB's nothing to think about. They follow one guy the entire time. It's not hard to run a WR in the safety zone let him pick up the WR then have another route come in the exact zone wide open.
Talent evaluation is the worst I ever seen. We keep finding these heavy a** O-Lineman that can barely move. Hell our LT Saturday was the heaviest person on our team.
Can't understand why Damone Clark is not blitzing at all. The guy is blazing fast. Can't play MLB and and coverage for sh*t. Make an adjustment and send him blitzing.
Unnecessary Substitutions. That sh*t gotta STOP! It's no way in hell we should have had Evans in the game with Ricks on the sidelines It's no way in hell we should have four back up WR's in at one time. Every time we do that we go three and out.
Why the hell we never blitz? We blitz one time Saturday, I think it was Baskerfield and he actually caused presser.
Trey Palmer returning kicks is trash. He returned a punt his freshman year that is it. He does not help on filed position at all.

The Bradford,Wire rotation was really questionable and odd to me… Wire is by far and away a better tackle than Bradford at this point…

Max is like a top 3 bright spot on the team. Max is top 3 in the sec with passing yards and touchdowns, with my 6th-grade football team online protecting him. Also when we average 1 yard a rush every defense knows we're going to pass every play so the fact that he's done what he's done when the defense knows what's coming is very impressive.

To be fair, I believe Johnson could be a REALLY good QB. Our glaring OL issues, and resulting intense pressure, create any issues he has (leaving the pocket too early, throwing off back foot, etc.)..
Play calling is taking TOO LONG! Kills momentum, burns TOs and does not leave enough time to evaluate coverages...

Stats lie. He can’t throw down field. All his yards are YAC. He had so many opportunities to win that game

The bulk of the blame lays with the O-line. If you can't run the ball and wear out the D-line/LB's with 40-50% run plays, it is difficult to win.
I can't put blame on Max, he is doing pretty good considering he has 2 seconds to throw. The play calling is suspect in that you can't call plays that help the O-line weakness. Granted Peetz has lost half of his playbook because they can't run the ball.
But still, run some screens, spread the field and run some QB draws, use I-formation and full back to get 1 yard. This game should've been a blowout if we had converted just some of those FG's into TD's.

We have bigger problems than the product on the field. Thousands of empty sideline seats and a half empty stadium by half for our home SEC opener ain’t good. The whole program needs to be looked at. Parking, concessions, unused corporate seats, traffic, etc. Step up Scott.

I think max could be good with better coaching but his deep ball is so bad. That needs to be fixed. He either throws bullets or mock punts. He also can’t run the read option. Multiple times this year he has misread the defense.
