The guy who said golf courses would go out of business you mean? I didn’t say I hated them. I just said the economics suck for golf in BR bc of BREC and LSU.
Since I have been saying this a long list have closed. Howell, Dumas, Sherwood, Island (reopened), Westside, Bluffs. I am sure others.
But please keep the narrative up that I am a hater of BR golf. I am just pointing out facts. Golf business is terrible in Louisiana.

He isn’t wrong about this. Brec plays a large part in golf courses having a tough time in the BR area. Why should anyone spend the time and money to go to the bluffs from BR when you could play Beaver Creek 25 minutes closer to BR? People expect golf to be cheap around BR because of brec.
