Bashing players is unacceptable.

What the hell is wrong with some of you? Going after guys like Holiday and McCray has no place on this board. These guys aren't out on the field trying to make mistakes; those things happen.
If you don't like a player, keep it to yourself. I don't need, or want, the benefit your "expert" analysis.

This is kind of a slippery slope. An easy response would be "What the hell are internet boards for?"
I don't like college players being personally attacked but I don't having a problem with people pointing out the team's weaknesses.

if a guy messes up, and you bring it up, that's not bashing
if a guy continuously makes the same errors, it's going to be brought up a lot
hell most people excuse mccray and discuss how the coaches are mis-using him and putting him in bad spots

The players are giving everything that they've got! The win proved it! Give hell to the coaches...they get paid to take it...they make the personell decisions!

there are different lines to cross
like just how criticism is ok? calling hatch "garbage" is a bit extreme, but if that were another team's QB, we'd call it garbage (like say, todd for AU...pure shite at QB)
or WHAT you criticize. this was really brought up at length with RP. criticizing play on the field is one thing, but criticizing the player himself? then he had better have done something really bad...OFF the field

People are criticizing his on the field play. You may have a point if people were just attacking his personal life and his family etc… But celebrating great on the field play and criticizing poor on the field play is what boards like these are about.

I totally agree, I know in the heat of the moment right after a bad play negative things get said but these guys wanna win more than we want to see them win. shite happens, we play in the SEC for crying out loud!! Lets stay positive about all our guys, I dont see none of you out there getting hit.

ACTUALLY that is what this board is about. Nobody is bashing the kid's personal life, but simply criticising his play on the field. He is clearly a B player on an A+ defense. Game in and game out he has made huge critical errors. He is probably a great guy, and alot better athlete than me, but he doesnt fit right in our defense (the way were using him).

I didn't bash Holliday, but did say that Mccray should not be on the other teams fastest wr. He just doesn't have the speed. Just pointing out the obvious. I think he should be moved to LB perhaps. Of course, the other obvious thing is we did miss Beckwith. If he were in there, I don't think we would have had those blown coverages.

Don't you think the coaches are thinking the same thing? With a major problem on the field they are upset. Our problem is that they look for options in a real way. They know who can step up and take another's place. 4 months of summer and fall drills gives them an idea what to do. But bashing the players?? You see how Porter jumped all over Murphy on the sidelines after he went outside on the flair pass?? They sure do.
