I don't know about Aussies, but my heeler has been the easiest and best dog I've ever had. I can just leave her outside alone for a week or so and come back and you'd never know she wasn't being tended to. Easy dog. Only problems I ever had was when she was younger she killed everything within 1/4 mile of the house and brought it to the door.

What a-hole leaves their dog alone for a week or so? Did you just abandon it to fin for itself?
