I love my cat to death. He slept at the foot of my bed last night and I make the house for him when I leave for work. Open the blinds, pillow on the windown sill, the little shite has it made. All that to say, if he gets cancer he's getting put to sleep once I know he's suffering. He's an animal, I'm not spending $1000 on insurance or any treatment for him.
I paid $300 for him to declawed and neutured. That'll be about it for his vet visits. If he gets sick, he dies.
Then I'll get another kitten in a week or two. Life goes on.

Well, it is a cat. If you're getting insurance on a dog that costs 1 to 2k, insurance makes more sense.
