this is how I know you have very little real world experience.

In the working world, there are MANY people who've risen to high levels who simply aren't very competent. But they've hung around and are in the right place at the right time. I see it in all aspects of life - not just football.

So to just simplistically say that coaches that have been around awhile are someone automatically brilliant is just plain naive.
