I just got a PS5 this week and have so far just played some PS4 games with upgrades like FF7R and subnuatica. I want to get a game that really puts the machine through its paces. I was considering the ghost of tsushima directors cut because I didn’t play the base game or maybe Valhalla. Any idea? Which is your favorite?

Miles Morales is not a long game, but it was very fun to play.

Wecome to next gen...
On a more optimistic note, play Ratchet & Clank A Rift Apart. It's the most next-gen experience you'll find on consoles.

Well the limited availability just means you will get the games released on both gens.
They did it last go round. But I guess games like deathloop and returnal aren’t on ps4.
But what’s the other option for big franchises like cod, assassins creed or the sports franchises? Not release them on multiple platforms?
I don’t get the gripe here.

Limited availability isn't what's causing this. Not when games take years to develop.
Within the first year of release, across PS4 and Xbox One you had the following exclusives:
(not including download-only games)
Killzone Shadow Fall
Halo MCC (Halo 2 Anniversary)
Sunset Overdrive
Killer Instict
Knack
InFamous Second Son
DriveClub
Dead Rising 3
Ryse: Son of Rome
PS5/Xbox OneX has:
Demon Souls Remaster
Deathloop
Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart
Returnal
Medium
Even for games that were not exclusive to a single platform, it was clear that PS4/Xbox One was the lead platform for most of those games.
From what I have seen, PS5/Series X versions of multiplats look exactly the same as the PS4 Pro/One X versions only without a framerate cap.

Yeah i havent gotten mine yet to test out games like fifa or ghosts upgrade, but i will be going from a launch ps4.
I just dont think there are an actual lack of games. Intergrade is only on PS5. And from reading it seems like Spiderman, outriders, ac and fortnight look great as an upgrade and use the powers of the ps5. And im not some crazy graphics nerd so im not sure how much of a difference i can tell anyway outside of the potential for fast load times.

Going from 4K 30fps to 4K 60fps on a bunch of games is pretty nice though. And the load times are a LOT shorter. That being said, so far if I just wouldve stuck to my One X I would not be missing out on much and I still play my launch PS4 40% of the time.
