Keep in mind that to meet the definition of rape, it need not be proven that the entire length of an object was inserted. Any unwanted penetration, no matter how minor, can be considered rape. If, for example, the smallest part of the water bottle was used and went in, that could be considered rape. An incident like that would not likely cause physical damage nor the need for medical treatment.

Ok see I wasn’t aware of that. I also missed all that about a water bottle. Again it will fall in the middle like usual I still think, between bullying and rape, and that will be sexual assault. Question is if there were any coverups

It falling on sexual assault doesn’t mean there was sexual assault and doesn’t mean there wasn’t, I just think even if the kids meant to just horseplay or be mean, it’s still gonna go down as SA in court

Have a look at the big protest today, maybe 2-3 at Lowe’s and 1-2 at courthouse.

From an outsider standpoint, I don't blame the teacher for seeing the video and not being alarmed. It was just a few seconds of what appeared to be horseplay. The video went by fast and I doubt the teacher or the students were paying that much attention to it.

If I were a juror, however, that video would be proof that bullying did happen and the kid probably was sexually assaulted. He was Obviously resisting and being held against his will and it does look like they were trying to shove it up his butt through his pants and missed. I think it legitimizes the original complaint. The school was really stupid for releasing this. I don't think it helped their case at all.

As an outsider ( and therefore part of the problem disrupting this Lincoln Parish Paradise), please allow me some observations:
1. This has been going on a while. The hyperbole, outrage and indignation still appearing here and elsewhere about this dispute ( both sides) is beyond ridiculous and suggests instability or unhealthy relationships throughout the community. Pls get a grip.
2. the defense of “it was only bullying” is not very flattering.
3. The sexual assault allegations seem improbable, but are serious. See where the evidence goes. If the allegations are irresponsible, fine call out those who were excessive in making them.
4. Both sides make the community look bad and dysfunctional and underscore Ruston’s reputation as gossipy, judgmental and hateful.
5.you May now proceed to downvote and castigate me, b/c I, too am an outsider and no doubt have improper motives. That would be the Ruston Way.
