While your point stands, Miles hiring Cameron is not nepotism. Nepotism is hiring a family member. What Miles did is cronyism.

I want Orgeron fired today, but these debates over his sons and his girlfriend are dumb.
His sons are not on-the-field coaches. They are analysts, of which there is virtually no limit. Also, analysts are not paid much.
Any aspiring young coach can get a job as an analyst if he is willing to work hard. The vast majority of them just break down film and and other low-level tasks.

I’ve definitely seen Parker at a local cigar shop with a wad of cash buying padron 80th anniversary cigars for him and his buddies. For those not cigar people, those are $30+ a pop.

Saying as leaders, we should not surround ourselves with people we trust and know have our best interest at heart?
I know, I know - the 3 kids on the payroll thing may be a little over the top but those are low paying roles and I bet they think football like coach thinks football. I could see the argument.

Obviously most on this thread dont either. Analysts chart plays, watch film, carry clipboards. They are lowly paid and usually a stepping stone to something better. Thereis no limit on how many analysts you can have. I am sure some are at an elevated “strategic” level and are better paid but most are doing it for resume building.
Also, I would be absolutely flabbergasted if O could hire his kids without Scott Woodward’s approval. In fact after Miles’ big boobed blonde policy I would be surprised if he could hire anyone without AD approval…
