re: Calls for Milley to be fired and Blinken to resign getting louder

I do find it interesting that this comes out after the botched Afghanistan evacuation and now gives them a reason to have him resign, but not because of Afghanistan.

Now any questions in the he said/she said about the “plan” will be one sided because Milley will be gone and won’t be required to speak.

As an added bonus, they can deflect even more when pressed because they can state the Milley has been relieved, in part for his ineffective leadership. So now they can placate the right leaning base by saying he had to be canned because of him usurping the command structure and still give cover to the middle of the road independents and Rinos because he was canned regarding Afghanistan.

I probably won’t work, but it’s more of a sign that they know they are underwater right now for the midterms and are trying to have sound bites ready for the attack adds coming for the upcoming election
