Black horse South would be the course to play vs the North Course, but for that money there’s no way I’d pay that. If you can get on Cypresswood
Traditions for $85.00 that would be a great course to play. To get on the Traditions course might actually cost more than $85.00. Cypress Lakes is around $85 for a weekend morning tee time and it doesn’t compare to the Traditions Course. If you don’t mind spending the money you might be able to get on Memorial for like $165.00… the Houston Open is November 11-14 so first week of October it’ll be in great shape. Non-Resident Adult TeeTime can be made 14days in Advance. I’d definitely would play Memorial if it’s an option.

If you have a friend that lives in town, I'd ask them to set it up. You may not be able to get around paying the non-resident fee, but setting up everything on their website is a bit of a pain in the arse to only do it once.
