Right. If Jim has such potential and is such a genius, why wouldn’t he have left by then? Is he supposed to be Steve Jobs in chains? I get that he’s “relatable” but the people similar to him that I know irl are irritating.

He did leave and was starting to give a shite but the Stamford branch got downsized. The only reason he went back was b/c he had started something up w/Karen. Had Pam still been w/Roy he would have eventually moved on but once she was single he was toast. He was too sprung to leave.
