The first hour and fifteen minutes, the movie was boring.
Small spoiler******I dont like how Wan just introduces the monster 20 mins into the movie and he is just having a conversation with some random woman he kidnapped. The monster is making a weapon. I am no longer scared nor will I be scared. Dont humanize the monster.******end small spoiler.
The twist and last 30 mins are worth it though. Being high as hell and watching that conclusion....chefs kiss to Wan.
