Even back in the 90's I'd listen and just imagine they were raging against the big Government left.

Change some names here and there and 90% of their stuff sounds exactly like protests against the LEFT WING!

ZdlR hated Clinton. I actually think Zach is somewhat consistent. Morello however is a hypocritical POS using communism to get rich.

Pretending that they aren't/weren't Communists doesn't change anything.

Edit: Saw them live at Voodoo Fest around ~2006-07, so the memory of Katrina was fresh. Great show. Played all the hits. But Zach gave this horrid speech that went something like: “The United States is at war in two places! In the deserts of Iraq and in the Lower Ninth Ward!”

You could hear a pin drop. I’m still amazed he didn’t get aggressively booed.
