The infrastructure around both sites can't handle that. I know Dutchtown is well over 2500 and St. Amant has to be well over 2000. Two-lane roads and crossing guards are overwhelmed as it is.
The AP government screwed the pooch in their post-Katrina land/money grab. The whole parish floods after heavy rain now because new subdivisions took out the overflow, and Airline Highway, Burnside, and one stretch of 42 are probably the only 4-lane roads in the parish besides the Interstate.

Taking away athletic talent from both schools as well. I wish that we could just build up all 3 schools to fit more kids. The more kids that kept moving in, the better AP athletics was going to become, especially in football. It’s like no one school can ever be better than the other
