If I'm moving to Colorado it's someplace like Durango.

Wise. The cities eventually get overly populated and turn to shite. Find somewhere that's home, and scenic.

Loved Durango. Have stayed there many times and at Purgatory.

Incredible place but house prices have been insane over the last few years. There still are some deals but you’re gonna have to get way more rural. Regular everyday houses for 250-300k here are double sometimes triple that in Durango.

The locals who have been there for 20 plus years are salt of the earth, good western people. The imports from places like Cali and Jersey are a different story but all in all it’s an fantastic place. If I get priced outta Durango and southwest Colorado, then northern New Mexico is plan B.
