I said the other day, there's no way O is fired before the end of the season, because there's zero interim candidates on staff.
If there's any truth to this story, that's out the window. Ensminger comes out of analyst retirement in the ultimate "one last time for the alma mater" as the interim, the season becomes irrelevant, and the high profile search starts this week. Sounds crazy, but if O did what's being claimed, he's gotta be gone. And BTW, it changes that exchange with the UCLA fan from being tacky, to something a lot worse.

I’m not sure the interim matters that much because the season is a loss regardless of who they say is the head coach. Ensminger would make the most sense and keep people coming to games if for no other reason than sharing that deep love of LSU with him I would think. People would be excited to support him.
