It's next in line on my Netflix. Should I leave it there or put something else in it's place? Never seen it (No spoilers jerks!)

Are you a fan of Kubrick films?

It's probably my second favorite sci-fi movie after 2001 a Space Odyssey, another Kubrick film.

The only Kubrick film I've seen (that I can think of) is FMJ, but I thought that was great

If you have the chance, read the book first.

Definitely.

Book is fantastic, movie is up to par. You get a bit more out of the book as usual, but both are exceptional.

i liked the movie (American) ending better. I'm one of the few that does, but it works better.

Watch it, but read the book first.
Read it when I was in junior high, and read it a few times since then. After the first time, you'll have the lingo completely down.

I think both the movie and book should be highly appreciated. Kubrick usually did well with his adaptations. The atmosphere he captures in that movie is incredible.

Agreed - great movie, although not everyone will 'get' it.

One of my favorites, but watch it more than once. It took a couple viewings to truly appreciate it. One of the best movies ever made. Malcolm gave on of the best performances ever in this one.
Dark but very funny if you pay attention.
Book is very good, just like everyone else said.

A must see, if nothing else it is the base for a lot of pop culture references

This movie always leaves me depressed...I don't like movies that do that.
