People have no idea what they are talking about. Cox and other cable companies are just as susceptible to power outages as anyone else. Just cause you have power at home doesn't mean your internet should be working.


There are literally hundreds of routers, amps, nodes, etc that are required for internet to work, scattered all around Baton Rouge if the right ones lose power, it could affect service miles away. It's as if these frickers think internet service is as simple as two cups and a string, when in fact its a thousand times more complex that their little peabrains can handle

The question, Mr.Expert, was why did it work almost a full day after power loss, then go out. If it went out during the storm, then great. But why well after all damage and everything had stabilized? We know it ain’t two strings and a cup.
