actually, for most insurance policies.....fence is not covered so prolly no insurance company is paying.

Had a neighbor’s tree fall on my property. He helped me cut it up and nail tarp on my roof. Real stand up guy.

I paid for it. Not his fault. Heck I felt bad he lost a tree. Easier to fix a roof than replace a mature tree.

Trees down , coverage limit is $500, fence is covered , both deductible is 5% of coverage

Correction on deductible, 2% not 5%, my deductibles were $5k for hai, then 4 monhths later $5k for 1st hurricane & zero for 2nd hurricane

One does not need proof prior to the incident. It's a knew or should have known standard, and the plaintiff can and has prevailed based upon photos of the tree after the fact.
