That’s a really harsh red
I can understand the penalty if the deflection looked like it was gonna go in if not for his arm
But that’s incidental, that should not be a red

I could agree that it shouldn't have been a penalty if he hadn't thrown his arm forward. If it just went off his thigh and into his arm, then I'd say play on. But once he threw his arm forward to help keep the ball out, it has to be a penalty and a red for DOGSO.
