There are men in the military dying, and his son had a desk job in the military and died 20 years later of cancer. So he totally can relate to what's going on

People get touchy but most of the military is a jobs program and treated as such by a lot of its members. Combat troops don't deserve to be lumped in with these turds. Unless you are in the field either running a carrier or radios for combat zones or rucking a pack through hostile territory, I don't really care.
