Soy boy,

Buckhead is a ghetto. Southside of Atlanta used to be ok but it's now ghetto-suburb unless you can't below Locust Grove. But if you did, you may as well move to north side of Macon. It's nicer and much cheaper.

If you must be in Atlanta near downtown, then Inman Park is great. Decatur is ok. Avoid Gwinnett. Anything near 285 outside is ghetto. Maybe you can get up to Cumming.

It's going in the wrong direction, but it's far from a ghetto. Still by far the nicest area within CoA limits.
