Melania and I send our deepest condolences to the families of our brilliant and brave Service Members whose duty to the U.S.A. meant so much to them. Our thoughts are also with the families of the innocent civilians who died today in the savage Kabul attack.
This tragedy should never have been allowed to happen, which makes our grief even deeper and more difficult to understand.

Say what you will about Trump and his mean tweets- but Trump is great with the note.
He famously sends them to his children, and people who worked with and for him and is wonderful with his words of encouragement. The same goes for letters he would send to people who touched him in one way or another.
This is an example. Set just the right tone.
I cannot believe Biden is mute or napping or whatever the hell he’s doing right now. And honestly, I hope he’s not Presidenting right now - bc that shite just makes matters worse.

odds are high he will only announce numbers of newly vaxed and take a bow before walking away
i wouldnt expect him to say one word about afghanistan ever again, he has decided that is over and not worth talking about any more
