My favorite Kelly quote from Oregon game:
"when their DE chased down our fastest RB I knew we were in trouble".

Meh, he knows his little offense. He hasn't had a good offense in many years now.

That was no ordinary DE.

He does have the Mad Pirate film from last season to utilize and study. Id say UCLA has comparable talent to MSU. Wouldn't you agree?

I like when he said: “They have a different type of athletes”

Another favorite after we put the beat down on his Oregon team:
quote:
“They got a little bit different athlete running around out there,” Chip Kelly said. “Look at their defensive linemen. Standing next to them, walking off the field, they don’t look like a lot of the guys we see. That’s the common trait.”

LSU hopes that the two new coordinators know their trade because we sure as hell don’t seem to have an overarching method and direction!
I hope Aranda does well at Baylor because.......

Why MSU game? You do know that the Chip Kelly offense and the Mike Leach offense are completely different right? LSU’s defense gave up plenty of yards and points against teams that have a more comparable offense to UCLA’s than MSU’s.
Mike Leach’s is an air raid offense. Chip Kelly’s offense is a spread to run offense.

This. Plus Chip isn’t known for his adjustments or game planning. His philosophy is that they are going to do the same 5-6 things over and over again and just be better at executing those plays than the defense is at stopping them, especially after the defense begins to tire from the HUNH.
You’ve seen more innovative spread concepts and passing concepts in the SEC the past 2 years than you’ve seen from Chip Kelly in his entire career. Which is part of the reason why he’s floundered in mediocrity in two levels of the sport since he left Oregon

Hes gonna run between the tackles like 12 times. Our DL is gonna stuff them about 11 or 12 of those times.
