Played for Kim at Baylor her freshman year and was suppose to be one of the other Baylor greats before being dismissed. Guess she is giving her a 2nd chance at LSU. She is transferring from A&M supposedly.

Any idea how much time she has remaining on her clock? As a 2017 HS grad, I’d think she’d be classified as a Sr this year.

She has only played three years so with the extra covid year she probably has 2 years.
Played one year at Baylor, one year at Rugers and one at A&M. Its past the transfer deadline, she may have to sit out a year unless a grad transfer.

Kim be working that transfer portal. This team could make the elite 8 this season!

She was listed as a JR on the aggies website last year.
Some stats from the same website:
20 games played in, but no games started.
9.5 minutes averaged per game in games played.
47% field goal percent.
37.5% three point average.
86% free throw average.
6 points per game average.
1.3 rebounds per game.
1.3 assists per game with a 1.1 assist to turnover ratio.
One could extrapolate last years numbers out to higher totals if she had more minutes per game.
Her shooting percentages seem to show a fairly efficient scorer, especially compared to a typical LSU guard under Nikki.
Her assist to turnover ratio is not that great, however.

KM is bringing women's BB back to center stage. Another ladies sport to look forward to this fall.

Here are her stats as a true freshmen at Baylor. She will be fine here IMO. Kim usually works with the PG's

She will be sharing the PG position with an ALL SEC point guard and at times both will be on the floor at the same time. Anyone who thought this was going to be a 3 to 5 year rebuild didn't know who they were dealing with. The Tickfaw Tsunami is fixing to overwhelm the SEC.

Its not clear why she has ha such a nomadic career, but if she has her priorities sorted out this will be a steal.

This is pure speculation on my part.
She left Baylor after her freshman year for legal reasons which I won't rehash.
I speculate that she left the Aggies because of playing time received last year and / or fit with the program.
I have little doubt that she has been vetted by Kim and her staff. She should be a good compliment to Pointer and Ursin. We have a decent chance to be a top 4 SEC program this year, IMO.

I have no idea but who would be the other top 3?
Thanks

South Carolina should be top of the heap again. My speculation of a possible top 4 in SEC is based on LSUs roster with Mulkey at the helm versus the typical strength of the SEC. I don't know what each team returns at this point.

Normally would be excited but damn, that's a lot of transfers.
Has to be some baggage there and not much eligibility left

The transfer market is the new wave in college athletics and Kim Mulkey is taken advantage of it!
The SEC will be interesting this season SC and Georgia should be 1 and 2 the rest is a toss up Ole Miss could even be a top 4 team this season.I look for the lady tigers to make a deep run in the SEC tournament.

I get it, but this will be her 4th school in 4 years.
There's something not right

As I understand it, you have 5 years to use 4 years of eligibility normally (meaning you can redshirt one year). With the Covid exception, it is effectively 6 years to use 5 years of eligibility. Year 1 - Baylor 2017-18 Year 2 - Rutgers (redshirt) 2018-19 Year 3 - Rutgers 2019-20 Year 4 - A&M 2020-21 So, as it stands, she has used 3 of her 5 years of eligibility, in 4 years. She has already transferred twice. Here is what I don't know. Does she get the benefit of the free one-time transfer rule since she did not technically have the rule available to her for the first two transfers (she sat out a year at Rutgers and was granted an exception which allowed her to play immediately at A&M)? This is nothing more than my speculation, but I would not think she'll get the benefit of the new transfer rule since it is not actually her first time and the NCAA already threw her a bone by granting one exception. IF I'm right, then she'll sit out next year, leaving her at using 3 of her 5 years of eligibility in 5 years. Though she would then have 2 more years of eligibility left, she only would have one more (her 6th) year to use it. So she'll transfer, sit a year, then play one final year. This represents my best understanding of the situation. Feel free to correct me you have better information.

If she is a grad transfer she would be eligible immediately.
