It’s not a free market when the government mandates suffocating restrictions on businesses then pays people to stay home and allows them not to pay rent.

Hell a client can actually decrease hazardous waste stream at a plant by half but EPA regs make it too expensive

I’ll take it a step further and say the government is taking money by force FROM business owners and other producers to give people not to work.

That’s not the free market in any way shape or form.

I’m not opposed to minimum wage or some form of welfare on hard times, but it has to be finite.


Personally I’d say that upon turning 18, you’re given 12 months of unemployment for the rest of your life. You can draw from the pool at any point, but once it’s gone, it’s gone.
