re: Best locations in US for extended family vacation during summer 2022

Well I can’t speak to it yet since it will be new to us but we are doing a 10day trip in June to coastal Maine/ cape cod. Been planning it out for a few weeks now and seems to be a beautiful and interesting part of the country. Flights right now are very cheap from Nola to Boston for next summer. Just something to think about.

We did Pacific Northwest last summer and it was a fantastic trip. Spent a few days exploring Olympic national park , mt rainier, and the north cascades. We finished the trip up with a few days on orcas island off the coast. (Part of San Juan islands ). Did some hiking , sea kayaking, whale watching , and white water rafting. It was a great time.
