Vietnam, Iraq made little sense. Afghanistan they deserved to get the shite kicked out of them. But the taliban were like roaches. West a waste of money and lives for nothing.

Maybe not with the lens of hindsite. But if you examine it within the scope of the geopolitical climate of the day, Vietnam made a lot of sense.
Now invading Russia in the middle of winter, that made little sense. I thought someone with your military credentials would have understood that...
