True.
But, smallpox is many many times more serious for military aged males than Rona.
It's not even close.

So I should just be ok with forced vaccinations because George Washington did it?

Thebes won a war by having a band of gay lovers. I wouldn't recommend forcing the public to do something just because it worked in a war once.
