Looks like Abbott is going with pardoning the Speaker route as someone suggested on this board.

If the higher court hadn't tossed out the TRO on the arrests, Texas Dems could have gotten a PR boost by having the Travis County DA arrest the speaker for doing his fricking job.
Abbott preemptively pardoning the Speaker would have prevented such an issue.
