Hospital covid mandates and silence by social media

I work at the largest hospital system in my city, and they like many others, they are mandating the vaccine by Oct. 31st or you’re subject to termination. Nothing says critical crisis nursing shortage during a pandemic like threatening to fire staff if they don’t get the jab.
Anyways, we’ve started a Facebook group to come up with alternative solutions and had a a petition circulating online for employees to sign that don’t want the vaccine. We had almost 300 ppl join the group and sign the petition after just starting to get word of mouth out about it this morning. Needless to say, it was growing rapidly.
Facebook has now blocked access to the petition and has disabled the comments on the group post as of 6:30 tonight. We started the group this morning. If this doesn’t send off red flags then I don’t know what will. They are silencing healthcare workers that question the vaccine mandates

How they gonna know you got it? Printing a card and filling it out is pretty easy that’s what three quarters of the people did I’ll guarantee you. Path of least resistance. If you’re smart you’ll order fake cards or make em yourself if you haven’t already

I doubt it man I think it’s all just posturing. It’s really easy to fake and most people have. Remember these are just political lemmings at this point. If you think they have a clue about medicine think again

That's pretty messed up.
I've been saying it for a while now, but nothing good will come from centralized social media. Anyone still on Facebook after this should immediately delete their account. Same with Twitter. It's poison. They're using your information to make profits for themselves, but can't allow you to use the platform? frick 'em.
Use a decentralized social network. Something like Diaspora or Mastodon or Manyverse
The idea is that you don't need to be beholden to Zuckerberg to communicate with friends and family. If you go with an alternate network, share it.

Start a group on Telegram. There’s multiple already on there for different companies in other industries.

I know for a fact that half this crap went down the drain where it belongs not in peoples arms. Which is a good thing. Because the people who cooked it up are no friend to you

Get it on paper drawn up by a lawyer, and get every signature you can in ink with multiple originals spread among several people.
Get the word out to the public through friends/family/anyone you know.

You don't think a hospital would be able to verify vaccine status with the state health department
In Nashville, Vanderbilt University places a hold on a student’s course registration until their vaccine record has been verified unless they have an approved medical accommodation or religious exemption.
The University of Michigan says it has a system in place to confirm employee and student vaccinations. A spokesman for the college told the AP the school has not encountered any problems so far with students forging their COVID-19 vaccination record cards.

Our hospital is not only mandating termination for not receiving the vaccine, but also it is considered a voluntary resignation. Why do you think that is?
