Although it is FDA approved , it is NOT recommended for COVID. Since so many people bring up the FDA in relation to COVID.

The horse paste version is hard to get an appropriate dose for a dog or human,for that matter.I ran in to problems trying to use it for my dogs when I first learned about it.The liquid version is much easier.Even though the bottle say it’s to be applied to skin I give it to my dogs by mouth and have done so for years without any problems.
I have a new bottle and if I get COVID and can’t get a script I’ll dose myself.
Anyone with liver problems or drinks heavily should avoid it.Same thing goes forTylenol.
