we're in an era of changeability. The Pels need to have options for all of the different teams and lineups they'd want to play
This is a great lineup against teams with a big C, Philly, Denver, etc.
But JV can't, won't and shouldn't play against all teams. That would be like a small ball switching lineup where the shortest player is 6'5

PG: Graham
SG: Ingram
SF: Zion
PF: Markkanen
C: JV

I just don’t think you can really do that and expect to be a contender. Most all contenders have their set starting 5 regardless. We can change one player out now and then but most of the time it should be the same. Zion isn’t a 3, he’s just not a good enough shooter. BI is a prototypical 3. So you either convince Markkanen on a 6th man role or it doesn’t work. The real battle as I see it is at SG. Do you start NAW and hope he develops into a star or do you start Satoransky which may be the wiser veteran but doesn’t have the skill that NAW has. Personally I’d like to see
PG: Graham, Kira
SG: NAW, Satoransky, Temple
SF: Ingram, Hart, Naji, Murphy
PF: Zion, Markkanen
C: JV, Hayes, Billy
The 15th would come down to Didi or Wenyen I suppose. Not sure if we could still land Hart and pay Markkanen I was just making my preferred roster without looking at the financials.

This has me really excited, especially when you factor in guys like Naji and Herb Jones who can guard multiple positions. I don't mind overpaying for Marrkanen at this point because we would be set everywhere with players under 30 on multi-year contracts.

If we can extend Jonas Valanciunas that's 13 roster spots on multi year deals so don't need many draft picks. We should still try to get Markkanen for less than $17 mil per year but at this point it doesn't make sense to hold onto draft picks.
