Yeah 2 > 1 big dawg.
Not to mention UEFA minnow rankings > CONCACAF minnow rankings.
And then the playoff for the 2nd place teams on top of that will more than likely be against top 50 teams.

Going by the May 2021 FIFA rankings here's our group:
11, 20, 45, 50, 67, 69, 70, 78. We have played zero games so far.
Here's the UEFA groups based on the same rankings.
A: 5, 25, 47, 96, 110
B: 6, 18, 51, 91, 120
C: 7, 13, 48, 71, 134
D: 2, 24, 54, 55, 124
E: 1, 17, 40, 89, 116
F: 10, 23, 44, 85, 113, 177
G: 16, 29, 42, 64, 138, 195
H: 14, 36, 38, 63, 97, 175
I: 4, 21, 37, 66, 158, 210
J: 12, 43, 52, 62, 90, 186
Yes, they may play 2 higher ranked teams in the next round, but that also means some highly ranked teams get eliminated.
