It’s crazy to me that you let cops violate your personal rights. You might not care since nothing will happen to you. But others, won’t be able to say the same.

Why do you say nothing will happen to me?
nothing happens to me b/c i will never escalate the situation when dealing with a bad cop. I have no alternative if they want to violate my rights, at least at that time, but you can have your turn to defend yourself in a safe setting in court. Trying to defend it at the moment is a stupid decision, and it's even dumber if you make it physical.
it's no different then having some piece of shite get mad at you on the road and you act like a bad arse and escalate their road rage by engaging them more.
You've got to recognize when you are dealing with shitty people, whether its a cop or not, and do whatever is necessary to get out of the altercation as quickly as possible. Let them go on with their day being a piece of shite, and you go home to your wife and kids and live your happy life.

Or even worse, Elijah McClain?

and while all of that was terrible, and the cops were in the wrong 100%, none of that would have happened had he not resisted from the get go. They had no reason to stop him or frisk him or arrest him, but you know what, they did, and resisting it at that moment will always be a dumb decision. I understand why people resist it, and it's not an easy thing to do to just let them violate your rights, but as i said, let them be dicks, get it over with, and you get to go home every single time. Don't let shitty people bring you down. easier said than done. Your not going to change the law, or that shitty cop at the moment, so do your best not to engage them at that moment. Fight the misuse of power in a safer setting.

How can you be fine with the idea that sometimes cops might stop, frisk, or arrest you for nothing but you have no right to be upset about it? The dude throwing up on himself and saying he can't breathe and the cops order him to stop as if he's resisting them and threatens to bring the dogs out on him. Seriously, frick you.

He was autistic for Christ sake. Do you really think he knew what was really happening? All he did was kept asking why are they doing that to him. When you can’t breathe or feel like you’re dying and don’t know what is happening. Of course your body is going to react like you’re resisting.

Also for the Jrue situation, he came to drop off the license for his wife and sister. But when they saw him, they arrested him immediately for no reason.

I don’t know what was the aftermath of the officers for Jrue. But the officers for the Elijah case got put on leave and then got their appeal denied. The CHIEF of the station even apologized to the family. The kid was literally just walking and singing. When was that EVER a crime?
