Is this really an issue? I mean an EV charger is just a standard 240V outlet (like your oven) if memory serves. And they run at 32 amps or so. 240x32 = 7.7kW. That's not a ton of wattage and would cost less than $1 assuming 10 cents/kw. Even the higher amp chargers won't cost much more than that.

I agree with this. We should build only nuclear from here forward, imo.
