I imagine Baton Rouge will have the best of the 3. Thanks.

What are you looking for? Retirement planning, estate planning, college planning, general investment account management?

I don’t have a recommendation, but I’d be a little careful with this line of thinking.

There is no right way to do it, but as a client, I tend to prefer being the big fish in a small pond. Getting the bang for your buck out of a very large office is difficult unless you’re a high net worth individual, and even then it can be a challenge.

I use KG&L in St. Francisville. Andrew Grezaffi specifically as he's a family friend. All three guys are super knowledgeable and really easy to talk to. Smaller firm but have a ton of different options.

Just don't sign up for a "we take x% of your assets under management per period and we handle everything" program. Unless your investments are crazy complex it's not worth it and the advisor you talk to will hand it off to his brokerage so you're paying the local face for nothing.

And whoever you pick, check them out on BrokerCheck before you sign anything.
