Anecdotal. But probably not any less reliable than the crap people are pulling off of facebook or CNN.


In general I think we all get that being in poor shape is bad, especially when things come along to stress your systems.

However...from the beginning, I have wondered whether there is some absolute factor around who this virus or any virus affects. Blood type was thrown around, I have heard no conclusions or studies or data analysis (also haven't looked for it). What about genetics? Viruses attack on a molecular level, I'm sure genes could play a role. No idea how - but fat unhealthy people have barely gotten affected and some people I know who run 10 miles a day have. There is a reason.
