As much as I wasn’t a fan of NIL and then adding OU and Texas… I’m getting excited about the potential…

Creating a super conference to destroy all conferences would be completely different than the college football that we all love, but it also can open up new potential variations that will be in control of the teams who matter the most… while yes this growth will greatly negatively effect the rest of college football, it can allow for matchups we have wanted for years on an annual basis.

If we get to 20 teams even the East/West Divisions will be able to divide again into sub-divisions allowing for a 4 team playoff within our conference. 5 teams playing each other every season with each team sending their best to a division title game for a right to play in a conference championship game.

Is it the same landscape that we’ve grown to love now? No it isn’t and there will be plenty of “fans” griping… But it has the ability to be a better, more competitive sport and kill this garbage 12 team playoff that would eliminate the importance of the regular season… I just hope they don’t Frick it up
