I had the prior model worx landroid that just crapped out after about 4 years (partially my fault). I really loved the thing. You are supposed to have them run every day. They do cut like a roomba, but if they run daily, the yard just always looks fresh cut. I had mine mow after dusk - it's so quiet nobody would ever know it was running. I have small kids and it was great for them to always have a maintained yard to play in, and it saved me lots of effort. You do still have to use a weedeater around the edges and mow occasionally. If it rains a bunch and yard stays wet but grows like crazy, you'll have to mow to let it catch up. The robot mowers aren't made to cut tall grass.
